Roll Forming Where the Work Happens
On-site roll forming means we trailer our roll forming equipment to your project location and form metal roof panels directly from coil stock on the job. Panels come off the machine at whatever length the run requires — 40 feet, 80 feet, 120 feet or more — with no panel-to-panel field splices.
This is especially valuable on large commercial and industrial roofs where fixed-length panels from a shop would require end laps, create potential leak paths, and add significant labor for handling long, unwieldy pieces. When we form on site, each panel is one continuous piece from ridge to eave.
On-site roll forming also reduces freight costs, minimizes material damage from transport, and gives the contractor real-time flexibility to adjust lengths if field conditions change during installation.

When On-Site Roll Forming Makes Sense
On-site forming is not always necessary — but on the right project, it is the most efficient solution available.
Large Commercial & Industrial Roofs
Warehouses, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and agricultural structures with long roof runs benefit most. Eave-to-ridge runs exceeding 30–40 feet become impractical with shop-formed panels.
Tight-Access or Remote Locations
Sites where trucking in long-formed panels is logistically difficult or where a delivery truck cannot stage material efficiently. Forming on-site from coil is often simpler and safer.
Leak-Critical Installations
Standing seam projects where the owner or specifier requires a continuous-panel system with no end laps. Eliminating field splices removes the most common failure point on metal roofs.
Complex Roof Geometries
Roofs with multiple pitches, hips, or irregular run lengths where every panel is a different length. On-site forming lets us dial in exact lengths panel by panel.
Re-Roofing Over Existing Metal
Re-roof projects where existing panel lengths are non-standard or irregular. On-site forming eliminates the guesswork of ordering fixed-length panels before final field measurement.

How On-Site Roll Forming Works
Project Planning
We review your roof drawings, confirm panel profile, material, gauge, and color. We schedule a mobilization date that works with your installation crew's timeline.
Equipment Mobilization
We trailer the roll forming machine and coil stock to your job site. The machine sets up in your staging area — typically a flat, accessible area near the building.
On-Site Panel Production
Panels are formed continuously from coil at the lengths you call for — one at a time, as fast as your installation crew can handle them. No waiting on deliveries mid-job.
Installation & Demobilization
Your crew installs panels as they come off the machine. Once the job is complete, we demobilize the equipment and haul off any remaining scrap coil.
